The official time to kick off your holiday vibes has arrived. You must be all set to hang your Christmas decorations up and watch great movies, all snuggled up with your beloved family and friends. During your precious holidays, when the time to enjoy these cozy moments arrives, many people waste it searching for movie recommendations online. To prevent this ordeal, we have come up with a list of exciting movies..

Will Ferrell's ‘Elf’

Will Ferrell’s Elf is a film which simply has to be in the top five must-watch holiday films. In the movie, Ferrell acts as a guy who is actually a human, but has somehow landed in the land of Santa Claus and he cannot fit in, not matter how hard he tries. The Elf is a wonderful piece of comedy. The funny moments with the lead role make it an incredible watch.

A Christmas Story

A Christmas Story stars Peter Billingsley as Ralphie, and is also a part of the top five Christmas must-watch. This American comedy film is based on short stories and semi fictional humor of author Jean Shepherd. It tells you about the winter exploits of young Ralphie, who spends most of this time escaping a bully, dreaming about his ideal Christmas gift.

Edward Scissorhands

High up on a hilly castle, lives Edward Scissorhands—he was created by a scientist, who died before he could finish assembling poor Edward. Having scissor blades instead of hands, Edward (Johnny Depp) acts as a young man with a freaky appearance, who later falls in love. So, yes, the first of the Tim Burton and Johnny Depp collaboration, Edward Scissorhands is a must-watch, and only people who hate festive magical fairytales will say it’s not worth it.

Home Alone (All Parts)

Did you honestly think we’d exclude this? Oh, come on! No one is ever going to recreate this outstanding Christmas family movie. If you still haven’t watched it, Home Alone is one perfect kid’s fantasy. Forget kids, it’s adored by adults all across the world and it’s a safe bet to declare it a global phenomenon. No kid can shave, wash dishes and order pizza in a swag, which could be compared to the Home Alone kid, Macaulay Culkin.

Billy Bob Thornton's 'Bad Santa'

Meet Billy Bob Thornton, who dresses himself as the Bad Santa, who robs shopping malls with the assistance of his sidekick, the foul-mouthed elf.  It might still hold its place in the flops, but it’s successfully become a Christmas classic. The enormously funny scenes of Billy Bob with his silly elf-kid will make your Christmas seem impossibly sweet. On the whole, Bad Santa has a brilliant plot! You will simply love it.
