Imagine you’re making vacation plans with your family or significant other. You carefully select the perfect spot that isn’t expensive. You research the best and the most affordable hotels and stay deals. You make estimates about any potential expenses that may come your way.

Your budget is stretched tight to bursting point, but then you spot a fatal flaw in your plan. You didn’t factor in the cost of the airline tickets and since you want to return too, you’ll need to double that cost. Would you let this one thing ruin all your plans? Wouldn’t you wish a quick fix to those problems?

Thankfully, there is one. CheapAir.com lets you pay for your airline bills in monthly installments. Excited? Want to know more. Here’s all there is to it.

What kind of packages do they offer?

The website has partnered with Affirm, a company offering financial services to its clients. Together, they offer three packages. You can choose between the three-month, six-month, and twelve-month repayment plans.

The interest rate is usually around 10 to 30 percent. And it depends upon a number of factors including your credit score and monthly package. Apart from the interest, there are no other monthly fees.

How does it work?

The process is fairly simple. You need to select the flights on the CheapAir website. You then need to choose your personal and financial details. Affirm would check your credit score. The credit check will, in no way, impact your credit rating.

Some of the personal details you require include your name, date of birth, address, and contact details including your email and cell phone number. For your credit check, you would need to offer the last four digits of your social security number.

What are the limits on ticket financing?

There are no limits, as such, on the number of tickets you finance through CheapAir. You can apply for as many tickets as you want. But there is a lower limit on the cost of the ticket. You can only request financing services for a ticket that is a hundred dollars or more.

How secure is my personal information?

In many ways, privacy concerns have defined this era. Whenever you supply your personal information for any financial activity, you need to be aware of the levels of security and any potential misuse of your private information.

According to CheapAir, it accords high priority to protecting the personal information of their clients. The financial services company Affirm has systems in place that ensures encryption for private information. There are also additional security checks to protect the information. The company does not sell your information to a third party.

What are the available payment options?

Affirm and CheapAir offer you plenty of available payment options to choose from. You can pay through your debit card or bank transfer. You can also use a personal check for payment purposes. Other payment options include Bitcoin and Western Union cash transfer. When it comes to the repayment, Affirm can send you email reminders so you don’t forget to pay.
