Here are five things you must avoid if you want to reach your goal weight

1.     Avoid going against your diet pledges

This is the first thing you must do whenever you decide to lose weight in the first place. Your diet pledge should be extremely important to you, and you should never deliberately go against it, or break it. 

Breaking rules can be as easy, such as eating brownies at your office or getting fries during lunch. Yes, it will hurt when you see others gobbling fatty foods around you, but all you need to do is have willpower. Not to mention that you would have to respect yourself, keeping your ultimate weight goal in mind.  

2.     Cut back on those sugary starches

After being honest to yourself about your diet plan, it’s essential that you make an active effort on cutting back your starchy and sugary foods. These kinds of foods stimulate secretion of insulin and insulin, which is a high-fat storing hormone in the human body. When your level of insulin goes down, your body will start burning fats faster.   

3.     Don’t forget to include these in your diet—Protein sources, Fats and Vegetables   

When people start losing weight, they often make efforts to ignore protein sources and most importantly—fat sources—along with the veggies.

The secret to losing weight fast is keeping a balance in all the three things mentioned above. Having this balance will automatically drag your carb intake towards the ideal range of consuming 20 to 50 gm each day. Check out some suggestions mentioned here:

If you are seeking to lose weight fast, try to avoid all your unhealthy habits. Drugs and narcotics like cigarettes, alcoholic drinks and marijuana should be strictly avoided. There is no way you can continue drug or alcohol usage, and expect to lose weight at the same time. 

5.     Avoid keeping more than one higher carb day

Yes, this is not a do or die kind of drill. You can allow yourself to eat high fatty foods, but make sure you're restricting yourself to only one high-carb day, each week. It’s necessary to stick to healthier food items for the rest of the week. The thing about cheat meals is, you have to make sure you're consuming only the amount which you can burn easily in the coming two days.
